I enjoy this scene from “Scent of a Woman.”

The only thing I find hard to watch is when Charlie says, “Don’t pay any attention to him,” as a way to lessen the tension he feels when Al Pacino is indirectly flirting with Gabrielle Anwar. Luckily she’s already so into Charlie that he comes across as cute instead of annoying.

Notice how Pacino isn’t trying to get into her pants – he’s just enjoying her energy which comes across as non-threatening and fun. Making friends really can be this easy.
