How do I find a girl that deserves me, and won’t cheat?
Hey, I got cheated on 6 months ago, I dated a girl for 5 years, and moved from California, to Chicago, and it was long-distance for 4 months, it was a great relationship, and I trusted her completely until I found out she was cheating, I ended the relationship, and ignored her pleas for me to stay with her.
Now I live in Seattle, and I feel like I’m over this girl, how do I find a decent girl to date?
(Editors Note: I did a Google Image search for Seattle Hotties… looks like you’re going to be alright… Click Any Image)
I am out in public all the time, I bike around, and everyone I know says I’m not only cute, but I have a great personality, I’ve even been told, “you are The Perfect man, because you don’t ACT like a man” xD
I see all these beautiful women around, and even talk to a few of them, but not relationship wise, like idle chatter waiting at a red light to cross the road and such, I don’t have the “balls” to just ask a girl out, .. Nevertheless, can anyone give me advice on how to find a good girl to ask out? I don’t want to get cheated on again…
Thanks again, Thomas
Dating is like driving. You can’t date so defensively that you’re going to avoid EVERY possible fender bender.
All you can do be aware of what’s going on.
Keep your eyes open and enjoy the ride.
If you’re too scared to drive you’ll never get anywhere. And if you’re too scared to date then you’ll never enjoy love again.
The best thing you can do is spend enough time alone that your emotional body heals from your last relationship hurt. This takes time.
And if you’re on here asking how to avoid a girl who might cheat then you’re not done healing yet. You’re still jaded.
It IS possible to be so healed that you’re no longer worried about it. That’s where you want to be.
Otherwise you’ll be so guarded that the next girl will either run away from you because she’s tired of defending herself OR she’ll never get past your defenses long enough to really get to know your real and vulnerable side.
So heal up, relax and you’ll find yourself in a great place to date again.
Trust me… it’s better to trust and be cheated than to NEVER trust again.
